Job Description: Assists Site Coordinator in planning and conducting after school tutorial activities following program guidelines and protocol. Provides continuous feedback of student’s success/weakness throughout tutorial/parenting activities. Collects data for evaluation as required. Delivers programs and services on schedule and in a manner which effectively motivates changes in students and promotes favorable attitudes. Conducts on-going working relationships with teachers of enrolled students to ascertain academic and social skill weaknesses. Is non-judgmental and has a respect for and understanding of the Appalachian and/or Hispanic culture as relative to target group.
Education/Experience Qualifications: Must possess a High School diploma or GED. Preference will be given to the individuals holding an Associate’s Degree and/or experience working with students in an academic setting. Must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license and proof of liability insurance on automobile. Spanish bilingual preferred in some programs.
Hours and Benefits: Part-time; non-exempt.

Education/Experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in education with State Certification in Elementary Education. A minimum of two years teaching experience preferred. Ability to work effectively with principals, teachers, program staff, volunteers, parents and students. Must have valid Tennessee driver’s license and proof of liability insurance on automobile.
